1914 Faulty Planchet

    picked this one up, was part of a page with error coins, I'm not sure on this one as there are still details for his nose and eye showing. 1914 faulty planchet.jpg

    Hey @paddyman98 ? (aka, Ed Stickler.) Is it Lamination or Delamination? :wacky:
    The meanings are messed up. No? Or is it just us, the coin community that uses it this way?

    You should know the answer by now.

    Lamination refers to the planchet issue.
    It Could be a Lamination crack or a Lamination peel. When there is some of the metal missing that's when it's considered a Delamination because it Detached ;)
