I wonder if the story comes slabbed and graded too? Perhaps BS70 (I kid I kid, maybe it's true, who knows )

I hope the 'more to this story' is how it managed to get downgraded.

Maybe the owner hoped to get it upgraded to MS67+ like the other coin. Perhaps the moral is to leave well enough alone.

Wow - I still have yet to have a coin graded and this is why....no degree of consistency. At least not at the cost anyway.

 

I believe PCGS has a guarantee stating that if they downgrade your coin, they will pay you the difference between the old grade and new grade (the price is at their own discretion).

 

Happier than the current SEGS post, no?

 

That's the way it works. They are in control but seem to make it right when they messed up.

 

Would have been a happier ending if he'd moved faster. A 67 is now worth not much more than a 66 would have sold for two years ago, and the "2/0" Pop is now 18.

 

Appears to be a woody! I find it hard to believe it would get a 67 with the grain in it unless it was invisible when it was first slabbed.
