I’m no pro but it does look real to me in that photo.

 

The obverse die breaks give it an air of legitimacy.

 

Thanks folks. I missed out on this one, but the seller has been suspect in the past. First, the prices were just too good to be true for the offered coins and one I posted here was suspect right off. Here is another that I am wary off with a link. This seller has never added anything about the provenance being suspect in the past but is doing so now. The pricing is in points, not dollars but current pricing would be nearly equal to the dollar and in this case would be $6.30.

 

To give you a laugh, I found this in the bottom of a box and not sure when or why I came into possession of it...

 

From the photo it looks good to me.

 

I found one similar metal detecting decades ago. At least I saved it from mother nature.

 

I didn’t realize that Mother Nature was a coin collector.
