I had another set but deleted em by mistake (yeah I'm an idiot) Was made an offer on this one and had to say yes... will post better pics in a few days when she gets here and then the reveal 24hrs after that lol but for now the crappy posted and NGC pics
@mrweaseluv I'll give the pix an AG3. The coin, because of the AG3 pix, I can only guess at a XF45. That guess I reserve to change when your photo skills reveal a suitable pic upon receipt. Honestly, I'm almost tempted to give it a Details-cleaned because of the first reverse pic showing what looks like micro scratches on the Roman numerals. I'm also hoping the coin is cherry for you.
These are tough to grade from photos in general but even tougher with out of focus photos. I agree with the first prayer. Looks like 55 possibly.
I have one so worn you can't read the date. I need to check it for other die markers someday to see if date can be determined another way.
PS I won't hold anyone to early guesses on these pics my type 1 has that same patina.. I have to say I like it a lot your pics show it much better mine are dark
AU/MS - note the edge detail on the reverse C. Those are very delicate and the first thing to wear off: That and the diamond in the middle of the C. It shouldn't show wear at the top, although the four lines that make up the faces aren't always sharp due to strike. The other key pickup point is on the obverse - follow the break lines of the star and look carefully at where they touch the shield.
