Well, it's easy to not do so in a coin forum for demographic reasons . But happy Mother's Day for those who celebrate. That said, the mother-baby theme is near and dear to my heart. On another forum I have occasionally remembered to post a few medals (coins too when the mood/coins strike) on this day. Here are a smattering of a few where I noticed I had either not posted or not put the photos together yet. Most are not all that new, and one is definitely a repeat, but I feel like re-posting it. And I could probably make a post with 50 photos, so you are getting off easy. So in no real order... The centaur mom and her child, mom-baby/art deco/mythology, hits just about all my favorite themes. I may have posted before. A medal celebrating Dr. Pinard, for whom there is still a maneuver named for breech extractions. One I didn't have in one of my Mother's Day folders yet, so adding to this set. Infant Hygiene, from a a Kunker auction a couple years ago IIRC. Another Kunker auction, this one a uniface. I had not fixed up the photo until today. This one is an actual NEWP from 2023 NYINC. Another uniface. A very much non-uniface...this one has a rotating piece which flips from belly to baby. I have had the photos forever but finally made a triptych out of them: This is an oldie, but the ultimate multipart medal. Rasanen made many but this one is six sided. I tried to show the flow with the photo. It really should be a youtube video. This one is rather amusing and outside my normal 'style'. But who could resist this 'temptation' particularly as it came with a full sized model made of (very old) chocolate. Chocolate being the (?secondmost) ultimate temptation? And one more that may have been posted...but wasn't in a Mother's Day folder yet.
