You should get a nice one for that. The competition is heavy however.

I have been collecting them originally by default. Now as you push up the "rarity" curve, pricing increases exponentially. Still fun, but at a slower pace now.

I have the Seutonius Twelve as well as Titus (2). They are not the purdiest, and are mutts (provincials, AE's, etc.) instead of "pedigree". But, hey, I have always loved MUTTS the most; they make the best companions!

Curious? => are you only collecting AR denarius examples, or can any denomination and metal type join your baker's dozen?

Ummm, and you do know that a baker's dozen is 13, right? (which extra emperor/ruler got the nod? ... JC?)

Three Vespasians. The last one on the right is very unclear, but it should read IMP CAESAR/COS VII. Titus as Caesar would read T CAESAR/COS V.

Both that coin and the Otho look like they have a good chance of being casts..

Yes, they both look too soft, but I am no expert. I would guess just from these images that they are both cast. Just don't throw them in the trash just yet. Let some of the others chime in. They have more expertise than me.

Just looking at all the coins in the images, I see nothing wrong. But in truth, you need to examine them in hand to look for any telltale signs. Have you checked them against the known fakes at

    http://www.forumancientcoins.com/fakes/index.php
    and at
    http://www.forgerynetwork.com/

Other then that and asking for eyes on here at CT or other forums on the internet, your only option is to send them off to someone like David Sear for certification (at a cost of course).
