    Hi all, just picked up this cool looking coin. I love the looks of it. it really caught my eye. Macadonia, Phillip the 2nd 359-336 b.c. Bronze Drachma. Obv. head of Apollo right. Hair bound with tainia. Reverse: naked youth on horseback prancing left. monogram. dia.18mm, weight 4.94 g. Philliptheseconddrachmaobv.jpg Philliptheseconddrachma rev.jpg

    Is it lacquer? Looks like there are areas where it has flicked off.

    I bought a lot of four of these a few months ago. One had this same green patina.

    Hey I'm always up for seeing a nice late Roman (and earlier imperial as well). Oh and fun fact: I used to own that very Hadrian coin :)
