Scottish puffin I see Lol. Nice animal selection. Anyone is lucky to see both. Stay away from the moose. A lot bigger then a horse
Every chance they get. Meanest wildlife in the woods. Look up deaths from moose in Alaska and you'll see it is the number one animal responsible.
Came across a female running down a dirt road heading into Stillwater Reservoir in the Adirondacks July 22,2016. Outside their usual range but they do wander through on occasion. I was alone in my van heading in for a weekend of boating and fishing. She ran down the road about 200 feet ahead of me for a few hundred yards, then ran into the dense forest. I got to Stillwater Hotel and told the folks there. Yeah, yeah they said. The next day several other people saw her as she wandered the area. Then they became believers. Had a great weekend except my wife wasn’t with me. The only time I ever went alone
Nice pix of your meese sightings. I went to school in NH for four years. I spent an inordinate amount of time in the woods hiking, skiing climbing high peaks, and never once got to see any meese. I was bummed about that.
Funny, as soon as I saw the word 'puffin' I immediately thought of the island of Lundy and was thinking.. I don't remember that issue.
@Cheech9712, I have one on my dashboard, I even put LED lights in its eyes. I did remove the LEDs, they just looked to creepy. Some one asked why I have that, I said because a real moose won't fit.
@Cheech9712 I lived in Center Tuftonboro, NH. Had plenty of them coming thru the back yard and walking down Rt 109A
Gotta be over 30 years ago we crossed paths with a male swimming as we canoed in the BWCA; no idea how big it was but was just a bizarrely unexpected encounter.
