Not in the greatest shape but any ideas on values? The only info I could find on the Grafton note is 2 on Ebay but they're both graded and asking price doesn't doesn't always mean they're worth it. Thanks in advance for any info.
Nice Notes! Not sure on the first two but I do have a 1934 North Africa Note. Yours is somewhat worn and could fetch upwards of $30. 1934 North Africa $10 Bill Value | OldMoneyPrices.com
Nice set of bills! The thing about National Currency is that many who collect are looking for notes from a certain geographic area, where they grew up for example. A note from a certain part of Iowa for example will only appeal someone who collects notes from that area... To the Iowa collector, the Iowa National Currency note will be a lot more valuable than on the open market such as eBay, etc... Hope my rambling makes sense... Thanks Doug
That makes total sense. I was just curious about the Grafton note since I can't find any info on it anywhere other than the 2 on Ebay and I know an asking price doesn't mean something is worth that much. I know the note I have isn't probably worth a lot but was just looking for a ballpark value.
Cool notes. I don't know anything about Grafton specifically, but North Dakota is probably a good state as far as value, as there are probably not many notes. For anybody trying a 'One-From-Each-State' collection you need a ND somewhere.
great notes, but something to keep in mind, something is only worth what someone is going to give you for it and condition is the number one thing, so true value is in the high of the beholder.
Very true. I've been collecting mainly coins and some currency for quite a few years and I never sell anything especially these since I recently inherited them from my father in law who passed away 2 years ago. I keep a spreadsheet with values for most of my collecting so was just trying to get a ballpark estimate what this might be worth.
Condition will probably be less important for the ND note. I suspect that there are not many of these, and so National collectors will take what they can get. Although far from perfect, it still looks collectible to me. The FRBN looks a bit uglier, and it is not as rare as the ND note, but these aren't all that common. The North Africa note looks the nicest. I collect $10 notes and all of them are notes I'd be happy to keep!
