gsalexan; I know of no one who has a better collection or knowledge of intaglio prints or souvenir cards. I'll be going to the January FUN Show. Is there anything you might want me to look for? I did this a few years back on some railroad prints. It is no bother at all. PM me if you have a need.

I though you were saying they still print the Garfield Card. That would kill the market! I have two of them and needed a heart pill after reading your post.
Not active in SCCS anymore but I still buy them. I have one with holes that says "specimen." It is in storage and if I remember it is a US/Canada joint issue. (?) A larger card with two notes on it. Shows how long I have been away from this part of the hobby. Now, when I win one off the spider press I sell it on the spot.
I've seen a couple of the ABNC souvenir cards with punchhole "specimen" lettering, but don't own any. Those are quite scarce, maybe one or two exist of any given issue. I've never seen a punched BEP card of any kind. I'd love a look at your card, Insider, if you get a chance to scan it. From your description, I bet it's Interpam '81 (SO16) -- this one:
Thanks for the compliment, Sam, you're very kind! I'll let you know on the FUN show material when I hear whether the BEP will be attending or not. I had a great time when I attended in 2015, it's a fantastic show. You never know where this thread will lead sometimes. Son House rocks that song, Chris -- thanks for the post!
The latest issue of the Souvenir Card Journal arrived yesterday and with it the annual SCCS souvenir card. This one is dedicated the centennial of the National Park Service and features an elk vignette and an eagle -- "Old Abe" if I'm not mistaken.
Nice, Les! I was thinking of posting the same card. Here are a few more, in honor of Independence Day.
