Wow dude you have a lot of questions.

All I meant is that I roll them back up and return them to my bank. I can only justify keeping gradeable coins, unless they're really, really old. <shrugs>

Doubles as in the same year/mm? I don't remember. Probably.

Thanks I will look it up. I will say that the coin is 1994 and think that year has a connection to the rotated die. I still am not sure how it could have such detail and look like a real coin.

Yes as in same year and mint mark.

    I found

an 1893 Columbian expedition commemorative half (a few years ago)

1908-O and 1915-D Barber halves in January of this year

ANOTHER 1915-D Barber half a month ago

plus over 200 Walkers, over 200 Ben Franklins and over 600 1964 halves in the last 4.5 years.

All the Barbers, 30 Walkers, 17 Bens, and 144 1964's are from this year...so they are still out there!

Picked up a few rolls at the grocery store - $8 in nickels and $2 in pennies is all they'd sell me.

    Nickels - 1940, 1956, 1958-D (x2), 2009-P

    Pennies - 1944-D, 2009

    From bad to good.

I had a teller call me today. She had some half dollars I could have if I opened a bank account. I didn't want to, but I opened a free checking account. Got a box of $500 halves from Loomis. Complete skunk.

Took the halves to a coin counting machine. Put in about $300 and the machine filled. I heard the clink of silver when they changed the bag. Asked to buy the bag of $1000 in halves. Kind of strange when I walked in with $500 to dump.

Nice to hear "In all the years I've been here, I don't think we have ever changed the half dollar bag."

Results: One Franklin and exactly three rolls (60) part silver halves. Over nine more ounces in what is already a great year.

You were right. It took a few times for it to open. I looked it up and it is called the gin and soda trick. Thanks for the help!

Well, I did it. Called my bank that orders Halves for me weekly and told them to no longer order them for me. I'm finished CRH, at least for now. Had some fun but in the end the dumps at the bank and the lack of return drove me to quit. Good luck to all of you who do it. Hope it reigns silver for you all!

Found this roll searching nickels today. Looks much better in hand than my poor IPhone pics. Not a bad Jeff to be nearly 60 years old.

Did a box of halves today.
Found 8 40%ers. 5 more than my previous best!
Problem is my mom wants me to make money in order to get more boxes, and i really don't want to sell the silvers, because silver isn't at its best price right now. I am currently looking for varieties so i have my fingers crossed i find a 20 dollar coin or so. I don't care about the money, but for some reason my mom does, and since she drives me to the banks, i have no choice.

I was looking through some 2016 new nickels and found this. Any one have any thoughts? My picture sucks but it looks like a chip in the coin.
