I did find that in an album along with a 22 no D for right under $100. The only secret I have is I look at every single listing when I’m up late at night with insomnia. In addition, I think of searches to use that non-coin people might use when listing something.

I did grade that and it came back a top pop at 66BN. I was expecting a 65 RB so I sold it for $875 before another coin joins it as a top pop.

I think I need anything remotely good for my Abe collection. Got an 1918S the other day. It’s my best. A member gave me 2 1909 VDB CENTS. Proud of them too

Thanks. MS 64 by ANACS. Cracked it out and into the album it went. Just 5 more to go!

That is a genuine error called a CUD. When the rim of the die breaks the compressed metal fills that area and causes a distortion 180° across from the break. You can see the area above the M in UNUM is slightly distorted. GREAT ERROR COIN to find on a VDB!! Not sure I've seen a cud on a VDB before. CONGRATS!

Please do not attempt or even think about cleaning it. I can tell from just the reverse it's original. Hopefully the obverse looks the same.
