    I thought the luster was dull. Not against the coin at all, It's a very clean coin, but could have been dipped. Just saying, I don't think it is a 66 in hand.

    Same here, 66 all day. Super clean. Always nice to get a toner from the cello packaging era.

    I find it difficult to gauge luster from 1 straight photo with poor lighting. There’s no way I would have sent it in if I thought 65, but the Wash Q has been a focus of mine for 15 years. Was it dipped, not by me and its prior owner died a dinosaur. In hand it’s the text book definition of a 66, but for the pee colored toning and print, a 66+ or 67.

    I don’t know what the market graders will make of that spotty toning, but it’s every bit a high-end technical MS66.
