I found this quarter in a bank roll and noticed a dramatic doubled die I believe which is very similiar to the Homestead P DDR-004. If you notice on the back of the eagle the raised rainbow or humpback. I have sent this coin off to Mr Wexler for him to take a look at it. I am sure this coin will be attributed and end up being a sought after DDR. Sorry for the poor quality pictures but I could not get any closer and be in focus. There also may be some doubling on the W in Shawnee, I'm sure he will take a look at that too. Hope you enjoy and any feedback or questions would be appreciated. Thanks!
Might also be a interior die break, either way I think its a neat variation and I'm happy I found it.
It used to be that people would wait to make an announcement after the coin was authenticated. Then, they would have the first opportunity to sell their coin before 10,000 more were discovered. Chris
Nah! Better to make the announcement and then have folks respond with: "Say What?" Followed with: "Uhhhh, where's the Doubling?"
