that entire leg can't be cabinet friction can it be? The rest of the coin appears nice but that leg....

Looks a bit beyond "rub" to me. And wear is usually a darker area not brighter. Or is that a photo distortion?

Same thing I asked and he said that's how it looks in hand.

Too mysterious and too distracting for me.

    Unfortunate.
The head and shield are rather complete.
    The coin deserved better.

Agreed. There is some wear on the reverse, too. Wear, by definition, means the coin cannot be MS.

Holy... I sent in a few SLQ with leg rub no where near this, I guess I'll be happy when I get them back.

OP: Yes, that leg rub ruins it for me.

Looks like a pretty hard scrape, and although I can't agree with certainty that it's circulated - not enough data in these images for "certainty" and plenty of evidence against - I'm surprised it made it into a "righteous" slab. Were I the grader, I'd be hard-pressed to avoid calling it a Details coin.

Looks like slide marks to me . . . not the same as circulation, and likely why the coin was apparently assigned a value grade.

Well, take away the big rub patch (struck thru?) And the rest of the coin screams unc to me, better than a 62 even.
