Looks like my luck is holding

    Had several rolls of nickels hanging around so I thought I'd take a break from pennies. Found this on my last roll of nickels. Have to soak it to get the date. 1.jpg 2.jpg Thanks: Lou

    Looks like it's from the '20s, I'd guess. Even a no-date/partial-date Buffalo is a fun find.

    There is no CUD, only years of circulation damage. The date could be a 1923, but maybe a soak in acetone and then gentle cleaning with a Q-tip would help bring the date up more.
    Always fun to find the old when least expected. Nice find.
