Sadly this the kind of coin that hurts the NGC brand name.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

    And no rainbow, either ;)

Your full slab shot looks better than the originals, but still not great. Definitely not original skin.

I’m still waiting for it to arrive. Those are seller photos.

Agreed. They should have downgraded it to XF45 at least.

Well, no rainbow, but strangely it has some luster on it. 057F75C6-0401-4438-804E-652C43618D0E.jpeg

I called it XF and I thought I was being generous.

This is what photograde calls AU-53. No resemblence to the OP's coin.

Morgandude11 As long as it's Silver, I'm listening

Does not look AU, and certainly does not look straight graded. I would have said VF 30 harshly cleaned. Don’t know what NGC was looking at.

NGC's photos don't make it look any better.

Yes, I expected some luster. Luster is required for an AU grade.

They were nice enough. I like them. I get some coins through a dealer in our town.
I'm not too knowledgeable about coins. If I find a coin that I like, I buy it. I've found several coins or sets in a jewelry store, and Pawn shops. Most owners don't try to take anything from them.
