What does Wheel Mark Mean?

    Recently I saw a NGC mercury dime graded Unc. Details Obverse Wheel Mark.
    What does wheel mark mean?

    I think the Wheel Mark designation is unnecessary.
    You can't even tell on many of the coins.

    Here are two of my favorite error coins with Wheel Mark on the label.. Sucks!

    It's in the luster and only seen at certain angles.
    I have two of these Kennedy's, with both of them in the same spot from original bank rolls.
    Sometime they get them wrong, and the mark was on the die and not from a counting machine. Primarily they don't like coins with distracting changes in fine luster.
    Can you guess where the wheel mark is on this one?

    To some, "Wheel Mark" has a totally different meaning. Most of it call it "Road Rash." LOL
