    Don't find these very often-in a bank roll. Too bad this is in such tough shape. Looks like the "P" has a split serif and possible doubling else ware, both sides. Of course their are so many DDO's, DDR's for this year I just don't think it's worth spending time on it. Just showing what's still out there. Lou Obverse.jpg Reverse.jpg

    Looks like it could be an RPM Lou. If there is an associated DDR/DDO then they will show the corresponding variety.

    Nice find but that is a coin with a rough looking surface are all. But hey, it’s silver.

    Do you know how the coin gets that "orange peel" on a silver coin? I'm thinking a cold strike.

    You have the C right. The coin was heavily Corroded then Cleaned.

    Split serif, lol. You're looking too hard, Lou. But nice find, these are always heart-stoppers when we find them.

    Cleaned, probably due to corrosion as stated. A mild acid may have been used.

    From my vantage point, the surfaces look like they took too long in a white vinegar bath.
