This is from the bank my grandfather worked at. It unfortunately has some folds in it. However, it is a special bill to me. One in worse shape was sold in 2020 on currency.ha.com. To see the auction price I need to sign up on their website, do you think I should? Also, is it worth getting this graded? Nice one, here's mine with a tax reminder serial number! :D I'd say no to getting it graded as it's sentimental so you're not looking to sell it! :cigar:

Heritage is the best of the best for searching auction records.
Making an account is safe. However, you may want to turn off the emails.

you COULD grade it, it looks like a VF note, but you don't need to. At least get it in a secure holder!

I have signed into my heritage account, and found what I believe to be the auction that you mentioned. $61 after buyers premium of I believe 12 percent.

Thank you for looking us the auction price! It have been searching the web and Amazon for holders for my coins and paper money. I’m just not sure which product to get. I want sheets that can go in ring binders and I have some large and small bills. I also have Morgan dollars that need the larger coin pockets.

I know nearly zilch about paper currency, but that's a nice old note.

With the sentimental connection, it's priceless. The "Lucky 13" serial number is neat, too.

I'm not sure how many notes you're looking at holdering and need sleeves for but Guardhouse makes high-quality, rigid holders: https://www.ebay.com/itm/124099613294. They're on the more expensive side compared to other brands but if you don't have a large amount of notes to holder I'd recommend them. Cardboard Gold is another good one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/385220498309. Some holders are really thin and flimsy.

Regarding pages, I don't have a brand to recommend as I haven't bought those in quite a few years but I would focus on rigid pages as well. I've bought currency pages before that were way too thin. If you have a coin store nearby it could be worthwhile going to visit and see in person what they have.

I don’t know about obsolete paper money but I doubt it’s worth the grading fees. It’s very nice and should be kept as is. Especially as it’s special to you.

If it has special meaning to you, then yes, by all means, get it graded so it is encapsulated and protected. Sometimes, you can find a deal on PMG for a discounted price, or ask around to bundle it with some notes someone else it sending in.

Sentimental value is always worth more, I have several coins that mark key times in my life and those are priceless. :)
