Yum! That's a really posh looking rice table! Indonesian food was always a treat when I was growing up, but the local rice table restaurant (imaginatively called Rice Table) is sadly very average. This reminds me that I haven't had good Indonesian food in ages. Must fix that soon.
As with coins I do not have a favorite food. I didn't take a picture of the last meal I prepared so I'll just describe it. Pepper crusted ribeye, 2" thick and grilled over charcoal; brown sugar glazed carrots; garden fresh salad with balsamic vinaigrette; salt crusted loaded baked potato; crescent rolls and brewed sweet iced tea with lemon. Any ancients with food on them? Meat and drink:
I've always wondered, how can you tell an aes rude from just an ordinary piece of rock? What are the taletale signs? Honestly, they just look like pieces of rock one knocked off the side of a boulder.

Don't think too many people know about this Chinese dish Its pork ribs covered in rice powder, then steamed on top of sweet potato. Whenever my mother makes this, I can eat half the pot. And a blast from the past.
Wow, all of your meals look so delicious ... I'm a fan of trying all types of food!! How 'bout a yummy 5-layer-5-cheese mouth watering lasagna for dinner ... ... followed by a nice Achaean League coin for desert => oh, and never forget to toss-in a glass or two of vino

I'm really surprised no one in the US mentioned the Caesar's salad...it has to be brought to you by a french guy (shocking, isn't it ?) and of course a Caesar coin to go along with it Julius Caesar, Denarius minted in North Africa c.47-46 BC No legend, Diademed head of Venus right CAESAR, Aeneas left, bearing Anchises on his shoulder 3.91 gr Ref : HCRI # 55, RCV #1402, Cohen #12 Q
Welllllllllll.... RATS.... @Bing showed the FOOD, the COIN, and MY style of eating (I have pretty much eaten all different foods worldwide that you can think of...)... So, he has taken my whole meaning of life away from me. I can't show anything...

I may have said this in prior postings, but if you can get past the looks, the taste is really good. The juice, which you drink from the shell before eating, tastes like rich chicken soup. The duck or chicken really tastes good, but the crunch of the bones might make you cringe.
I've seen these before but never tried it. If it was served in a different way which I didn't know what it was, I may eat it lol.
It's street food in the Philippines and is considered an aphrodisiac by the locals. The problem I had was the shell was so hot I could hardly hold it, but the Filipino's didn't seem to have that problem. Now finsih your dinner off with a fruit desert called Durian (hold your nose).
