@JK Antoninus You are gravely mistaken, the boys and girls on the Ancients forum are some of the nicest people that I've met. I might not see eye to eye with some of them but I consider them to be my friends. For all our faults we are not a political forum.

Frankly if I had know that me posting a Mauser would have led to this I would have kept my mouth shut. Sorry @ValiantKnight for destroying your thread.

 

Yea, I don't have an interest in them either, but neither do I begrudge anyone who does. The only gun I own is a pre-Civil War era musket I inherited from my dad. It hasn't been fired since my he was in his teens (70's?).

Funny you mention that. Ever since seeing what looks to be really faint glimmers of orange on some of the high points of my Vespasian denarius, I suspect it might be a fouree. I weighed it and it is a bit on the light side as well. But this will be for another thread.

The blue one and the green/yellow one are Budgies, and the larger dark green one is a Quaker parrot. The quaker is the baby of the group

 

I'm with you on this one TIF.
I won't finger point and name and shame, but can we all just be civil.
Politics and other off topic subjects will quickly lower any conversation into a battle of words .....
If you cannot be civil, then just leave. Simple.
