Hey guys...I picked up this curious item in a pawn shop a few months ago for $40. It doesn't have any of it's coins or anything else that goes in it. I really can't find much information about it..I believe it's fromt he '70's and possibly made by Franklin Mint. Could anyone give me a rundown of what goes where?

How much would it be worth with all of the items in it?

 

Privately made "set" of minimum value, but you still did very well if you got it for $40. I see a Peace dollar, a Morgan, at least $15 face in quarters, a Barber Half, A Waling Half, 20 Ikes $4 in two dollar bills and a silver certificate plus other coins. The Peace, Morgan and face value for the paper money just about equal what you paid and everything else came along for the ride.

 

He said coins/currency not included. Not sure why he posted a pic of the coins though.

 

I'm guessing he filled it up himself and we're seeing before and after pics

 

We saw them six years ago. This is another necrothread.

 

Holy crap have I been slipping lately on necro threads

 

I missed the part that he bought the empty case. Also missed the necrothread part. There have been a LOT of those lately.

 

I'm starting to wonder if people are making new accounts, just to resurrect 10 year old threads and get a big Kachorkle out of it
