Thanks, I am new to coins, I've had a bunch but just kept puting them in jars or bags/envelopes etc but now I want to learn, I want to know what I have. Like 1912 penny from india, which I have to find out about or this site told me about the 203-201BC Carthage 2nd punic war. I'm not coin smart but learning, you and your daughter dont give up, I'll be asking you guys questions soon enough. Sometimes drop your coins snd hand lotion and read the red book

Makes sense spray painted bag on your head guy, the man and his daughter are trying to do something society doesn't do anymore, spend time together, communicate and you talk crap. At this site one can expect to be treated in such a way D/T their lack of knowledge. I thought we come here to learn............

We are. I imparted a bit of knowledge in that post. You won't find a decent '82 quarter in circulation because nobody saved any as 'moderns' were considered drek. The mint didn't produce any mint sets that year so the only way to obtain pristine '82 anything is by buying the 'gift shop' offerings from that year.

Grow a thicker skin yourself, Lancelot.........

No, I apologize. I shouldn't have come down on you so hard...........we have fun here, and sometimes the fun gets a little out hand but rest assured, we are not trying to put anyone down. Least of all, new collectors.
