Hey thanks for that. I never compared my 21s to Sunnywood's. I've always thought he could've found better 21's though especially the D imo but maybe he couldn't find any better in 65 and above?

Yours looks very similar to his in color & pattern for the obverse for sure... Now, give up the goods Heavy! :)

For the conclusion of the contest, I refer u to post #15......
Btw, I agree about sunnywooods 21 coins, (S especially) the S is tough enough in gem w/o even getting to the bag toned part

Ah ha. That was a tricky one! I missed it as my air conditioning gave out at 118° yesterday. Wasn't in the mood to check forums lol.

    I bet it doesn't have Sunnywood's reverse. :)

And yeah, 65 or better was a prerequisite for the collection; no doubt he couldn't find a better one. It's hard enough to find one at_all. I've never seen the equal of the Sunnywood D & P coins. You just don't find a 1921 with subtle hue transitions.

Yeah, the Sunnywood reverse is a doozie. My obverse beats all hands down but boy do I wish it had his 21s reverse too! Some of his are 64/64+ right? I guess he couldn't find 65 and above with spectacular color for those

The reverse of this '21P is the best I've seen in person thus far..... The obverse was extremely baggy unfortunately:oops: downloadfile-2.jpeg

Now *that's* something you don't normally see in a 1921. Terrific coin! :)

Here's the only really pleasing toner I ever came across, and I bought it for the VAM, not the color. VAM-1I, in NGC 64:
