Found these for 50 cents apiece at a local pawnshop.

Great deal! I've only seen the one with the flag before. I'm assuming they're all Manchukuo.

I’m not an expert but they don’t seem right to me. I like them and hope for the best for you but I have some doubts.

Not meaning to sound rude, but would you mind elaborating on your doubts about these coins?

Recently bought a 1973 Bahamas proof set for $60. A great deal as there is currently about $70 worth of silver coins in the set.

The way it’s dark around the devices and clean in the open space has the standard look of artificial patina that you see on Chinese fakes. The fact that they’re Chinese coins from a pawnshop also takes the odds of being real down to 15% before you even see the coins. I really don’t like being Debbie Downer about finds like this but that is what my gut says.

A new purchase just in today. A gorgeous 2017 Swiss Shooting Festival coin with a limited 1,200 proof only mintage. I got this thing for a steal compared to what I've seen online. As you can see there's a slight rotation to the reverse.

I'm confident it is just dark spotty toning.

It was only $55, so it's acceptable in my opinion given the 'low' 124,000 mintage.

Got very lucky on ebay and won this for incredibly cheap. 1876-A Venezuela 1 Venezolano. Albeit identical in specification and design to the later 5 Bolivares, this one is a one-year type with a mintage of only 35,000.

Nothing new though, it seems more common on certain Roman emperors like Aurelian upload_2023-4-7_19-30-30.jpeg (not my coin)

I wonder if it is/was some sort of machismo thing.
