I picked up this quarter for my type set. It was in an ICG slab. I cracked it out and submitted it to NGC. It’s now returning to me and the grade is known. What would you guys call it? The toning around the stars has cartwheel luster left. The fields do not. I’ll let you guys guess for a while and then I’ll post the results.

    Quiet evening on here.

Well I gotta go so I'll just share the results.

This was in an ICG AU-50 slab last month, called a B-5. I agreed with this grade and loved the look of it. It's a very nice example and expected it would have no problem crossing. I cracked it out and submitted to NGC. Results dropped today:

    NGC AU-53 B-5 :cigar:

    It's a solid AU53 for me

Just saw this and happy to say I would have gotten it right. You did a great job of looking at the coin yourself and ignoring the plastic and the grade. Congrats

I was going to opine AU-53 but the reveal beat me to it. My hindsight is always 20/20!

But I wanted to say that I really love this coin.
