Ok guys, here's the point system:
    1 pt- correct grade
    1 pt- correct vam attribution
1 pt- for a * or + designation (if applicable)
I will tally the points on Monday and whomever scores the highest, wins the trophy and bragging rights!!!!
    Ready? Begin! IMAG2213_1.jpg IMAG2220_1.jpg IMAG2191_1.jpg IMAG2188_1.jpg IMAG2200_1.jpg IMAG2211_1.jpg IMAG2169_1.jpg IMAG2173_1.jpg
Sidenote: coin #4^ is a photo cert graded by I.G.A. circa 1986
Other sidenote-I DO realize vamming these is near impossible with the low quality images

Happy Fathers Day & good luck!

This would be an excellent way to get people to attribute you coins... make it a competition. LMAO

In theory yes, what a great way to trick people into doing the work 4 you. Problem is, with 81 82 & 21 S coins there is only a 1% chance it's a vam worth spending time on. Most vammers have those 1or3 vams memorized anyway..... That brings us to the 1878 7/8 tf which is attributed on the holder already,so I wouldn't need any help with that one either. But thanks for playing, your point total was 0...;)

    1881-S: VAM-22 in MS63+
    1878: VAM-33 and I wouldn't be surprised with MS65 but I'm calling it 64.
1921-S: VAM unknown; insufficient detail in images. I'd call it AU58 - too much evidence for a decent strike for 1921-S, with actual wear - my guess is the slab says it's 63.
1882-S: VAM unknown; insufficient information at VAMworld or in the date of the coin. Another slider I might go as low as 55 for.

Now how the hell am I supposed to guess what's on these labels, trickster :wacky:

The only star can be #1 so since you brought it up I'll say it's got one. Being an 81s it's a bit baggy for a 64 but I've seen.worse in ngc 64 so I'll go 64* or maybe 63+/*?

#2 is that a pcgs? The lighting is bad. It could be labeled anywhere from a 63-65 so let's net 64 it

#3 is that a no line fatty? Is a good example of an au64. The bird is telling me 58 but the color says the grader gave her a 64

#4 I haven't had much experience with vintage icg so no clue what the label says but she's an au58

You sure know how to throw curve balls Heavy

As for vamming, it's way too early. Plus only the first 2 I'd hazard to vam unless the 21's is a prominent one but it's not a 1b series. The 82s's are mostly double date related so no go there either :p

Edit: I see dave agrees about the last 2 and has already vammed the first 2. Lol

Edit again: Oops, on coin #4 you said vintage iga, not icg, and iga only did 64/65 combinations :p do you have the photo & folder for it?

#2 is the old controversial blue Anacs slab.
#3 is just after the no-line fatty holder with only the ANA square sticker on back
#4 yes I have all the packaging

Duh, I knew that wasn't pcgs but at 530am and only half a cup of of coffee down I didn't want to think that hard lol. I don't have much experience with blue anacs either. You know I'm a hotel soap guy :)

For the record, the 1881-S was among the easier examples of the date to attribute - low slanted date, MM left. If I'm right. :)
