My second improperly annealed find in just a few months!

    They're fun and trickier to diagnose the more worn they get.
    It's something I'm always watching for, especially in the kind of conditions that Sallie Ride is in!
    I've found a few that I thought were the real deal but...and there's posts to prove it :shame:

    They get extremely hard to distinguish once circulated. I don't have many under an AU55.

    I am bad I did not know this was something to look for. I had a couple and put in my spend pile. I should of asked you guys I normally do. Well I learned something new for the future. Thanks so much

    Be careful to learn the points for verification as environmental damage can resemble it.

    It's very easy for a ground find or stains to affect the surface. The first thing to remeber is that the reeding will be shynkee as if just struck.
    Why would the third side be so much of a factor?
