    Large Date is correct.
    It's a Misaligned Die Strike.
    It does cause a bit of a finned rim.

    Collar die clash? I'm far from knowledgeable about errors, but from what I've seen and read about "railroad rims" it can be caused by the die getting damaged and having a bit of a rim clash, which is then transferred to the other coins.
    Pam, I'm learning with you on this one, because I really haven't investigated the cause for things like your coin.

    I try not to even focus on errors or danage. Sometimes it just stands out to me. MADS come a dime a dozen lol. Especially the zincolns lol.
