My well worn pocket piece. 1922-S Peace Dollar. My dad's birth year. I've had it in my pocket for at least 15 years. Pocket piece 1922-S Peace Obverse.jpg Pocket Piece 1922-S Reverse.jpg

I carry a symbol of my parents wherever I go also. Mine is of a religious nature given to me by my mother. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, I remember. I may have won that in a contest here on CT 10 years ago or so. Something like that.
Either way, I recently discovered I had it and started carrying it around.

I don’t carry a pocket piece but congratulations to you for doing so.

He was a valued member and I took advantage of his knowledge on more than one occasion.

So strange that it is your mom's birth year, as it was my mom's also and she was given a 1922 Peace dollar when she was young and I found it in her belongings. I didn't dare carry it as I want it to stay as it was when she cherished it.
My pocket piece was a fantasy silver dollar, which was by no means silver. Morgan reverse, Knight with sword on obverse. Gave it away so someone else has a pocket piece.
