Just got thinking and was wondering what the most errors you have seen on one coin. I have heard of the double struck and misaligned dies.

Minor errors but interesting. Die crack, a possible struck thru and a bunch of chips.

EDITED: for @TJ1952 There is a common CWT (Bros. Brother's Bakers Fuld-NY630M-(?) with clashed die, shattered die, rotated die, cuds + I've seen one also clipped. That makes five errors.

Since no photo posted, you can Believe it or Not. :p

The 2015-P Nebraska Homestead quarter is 2015-P 25¢ NE WDDR-075B which is a new stage listing for my files. This is a case where the massive die breaks add more value to the coin than the doubled die hdd-2.jpg

    Google is our friend. :)

If it's the one I'm thinking of, it's really quite interesting and worth the effort to check out.

Truer words have not been spoken, particularly on this forum..... EVER.

I disagree. IMO a characteristic should count as one error. Otherwise, a coin with multiple die breaks (very common) as the one posted is very nice but not very interesting. Color me :bored:.

However, since there are no rules in the OP's post @usmc60 is the record holder SO FAR. ;)

I agree with you. But why would a professional like Wexler, say massive die breaks.I take that phrase as meaning more than one.? :blackalien:

Massive could mean very large (in this case) or even possibly very many.

Now while the die breaks are still included, I am also looking for a possible coin that has for example a cud, clipped planchet, lamination error, double struck, etc if such a coin exists.

I agree, I also would like to see a coin with multiple error classifications, such as you've described. The way I look at it this homestead meets at least three of the die break classifications. Crack- chip- and major die break. And I'm not sure what to call the doubling.?

It seems to me Wexler found it interesting enough to list this coin and to add it to his files. Insider it only shows us that people are different and like different things.:joyful::happy::blackalien:\V/

I'm sorry you  became confused by my post. It's not nice to disparage Insider. :bigtears: He loves your coin and has no problem with anyone collecting anything they like! :joyful:

Heck the VAM collectors assign a new number for a coin with a die break or different die polish!

The last party of your statement is true and I totally agree with. But why you say I'm confused . I was only responding to your statement of (Nice but not very interesting)The main thing I find interesting about this coin and other coins like it, is how the mint let so many of them get into circulation before replacing the die.?And I think it's a cool looking coin, and you can actually feel the major die brakes in the coin Without looking at it. Is it not exciting you can still find coins like this in circulation. Let's all just have fun collecting whatever we like. (The good the bad and the ugly):blackalien:\V/

I have an 1878-P Morgan that must have over ten noticeable errors on her. In fact, I am not sure exactly how to submit to PCGS for grading! It's a VAM but exactly what VAM it is!
I'm not sure if you are aiming this question to coins other than modern coins, but I think it is a good, and interesting question nonetheless! Keep your foot to the metal! Thanks,
