Doubled 6 in 1986 cent?

Is that 6 doubled?

Doesn't look like it. That line in the middle is probably just an artifact of the light and magnification, but I'm not an expert.

 

I would say no but I could change my mind after a few beers!

I can't seem to get the best picture of it. The reflection line is the incuse line.

If it were a doubled die chances are it would affect more than one digit. Notice on on the link I sent you. There is a separation line on the tail of the 9, a bulge on the 8, and on the 6. That is not to say there are no doubled die's affecting one letter, but most of the time more than one digit is doubled.

 

Looks like a die crack to me right along the 6 making it look like a double 6.

Seriously now I think Paddy may be right on the die crack. I blew & cleaned up the pic a little bit. May be on to something there, maybe.
