Just came from the bank after picking up some coin rolls...One
of the tellers knows I hunt through coin rolls and she motioned for
me to come over to her...She showed me some rolls that she said an
older lady brought in...Very strange colored rolls..Purple for pennies...Green
for nickles ....So I bought a few of them and came home and opened
2 purple penny rolls. Both rolls had very shiny 1960 pennies...No mint marks
on any of them....Very strange....Well, for me anyways, anyone else ever
    come across something like this?...Curious.

Neat find. Let us know if there's good stuff in the rest of the rolls.

And if the nickels are 1960 too, go back and buy any similar dime and quarter rolls immediately.

I still have some old colored coin rolls like that at home. I got them from the bank back in the 70's when I first started collecting.

One time, I got a roll of pennies filled with pre-1982. Not nearly as nice as your find!

Once I found a roll filled with UNC 2012 pennies. Worth...50 cents.

I haven't seen those rolls since I was a little kid 70's. Great find, I think you'll find some good coins there.

Well, just went through the rolls, 2 penny rolls plus 1 nickel and all were 1960..Pennies and nickels....Don't know if they are worth anything...1960?? But they have to be almost mint shape...??...

1960 had a small date that is worth some bucks...not sky money, but more than one cent.
