The Oldest Lincoln Cent

    In terms of the date that is. This is a 1909-S Lincoln Cent. Nicely worn from circulation but free from marks. I just noticed that the L in LIBERTY is mostly missing. I have an error that must be worth more than I am. Lol

    Not older than the VDBs.... But yes, by date it is the first year.

    Nice coin. I still need a 1909 S for my set.

    I think I’ll put this in my new Lincoln Cent folder. Why buy a lower value one just to fill a hole? Any comments?
