Hello everyone. I am posting these for a friend who just received these eight sequential Star Notes from his bank. I don't know much about paper notes, so I wanted to reach out to the CT family to get some feedback. They are uncirculated bills with no creases or folds. Thanks for any info or advice.you can share. Cheers
To me they are keepers since they are sequential and it’s only a few dollars. I would have asked the bank if they had any more but that’s me. Obviously new and not circulated which is good.
I have read that if they are crisp they are worth as much as $3 each. But I find that hard to believe. I just spend them. No fancy serial numbers which would be what you want.
They are now selling sequential $1 star notes in packets, for ridiculous amounts on BK Auctions. Maybe your friend should try selling them as a group.
Full packs (100) of modern $1 replacement notes can be purchased for under $200. Selling them individually wouldn’t be worth your while.
Though *STAR* notes are cool, they usually don’t bring any extra value just because there stars unless they have a short run or interesting serial number.
