    AV Real de oro ND
    Pedro IV "El Cruel" of Aragon/ I of Mallorca
    This type comes with seven different legends/ mine according to Tauler & Fau book is still unlisted/ not in his book.

    King enthroned/ facing holding Orb & Sceptre/ Shell in L Field within Ornate Border
    +ARAGONUM eT MAIORICARUM
    Patrirachal Cross/ Roses/ All within Ornate Border/ Shells at either side of lower Cross.

    According to Tauler & Fau, "Gold coins of Medieval Spain"
    these AV Real de oros come with seven different reverse varieties (legends) Most medieval coins have "U" as "V".
    My coin definately has the "U", also instead of o / : mine has a bar with two small crosses. All varieties are RRRR. Had it been a US coin, it would be high six figures.

    Nope/ I am flat broke:(
    I hope all the snow melts so that I can go back to doing lawncare and replenish my $$$$$ supply.
