1982 d large date copper Lincoln cent

    Could this be a d over p? Wexler has it as a d over d going south/ Southwest. Also on the obverse the date and Liberty look doubled. The reverse seen better Days. In the word United, what's all that funk around the word? Environmental. And please no jokes my guts killing me LOL

    D over P makes no sense and I see no doubling.

    There are no Philadelphia Mintmarks on Lincoln cents except in 2017.
    So a D over P is impossible.

    That funk is gunk.

    Your mint mark is a normal D with gunk around it also.

    Just a zinc D mint mark. Impossible to be a D over a P as 2017 Lincoln Cents are the only Cent coin to have a P mint mark.

    Yep that's me Mr forgetful somebody a while back suggested I take up another hobby. Well I don't like bowling, that's not up my alley. Try tennis but that wasn't my racket. Shall I go on? How is the pleasure coming out here I never know what to expect. Adios
