You guys keep bettin' and Jim's gonna corral ya for gamblin', which ain't allowed on this site. I know........I got 'infracted' once for much the same thing.
The heck with this, I'm gettin outta here b4 the cops show up and start hauling people off to jail.....
Ain't into the bourbon yet Paddy, just the beer. I thought proof at first but I blew the coin up several sizes and my thinking is just a well struck business strike on maybe fresh dies. But I'll eat crow if I have to.........fried chicken tonite.
I won't be around til Thursday to find out the out come. Leaving for Orlando first thing tomorrow morning for work.
Just pored the bourbon - now to go watch the Pens hopefully win the Stanley Cup. BTW - I would be waiting for better pictures all before making bet on PR or MS True story - asked the seller to charge me more if he wanted me to buy it. Will explain tomorrow - GO PENS!!!
Yeah, take care Paddy. I don't know what the devil is happening in central Florida but it ain't good at the moment.
Interesting - would not have thought of that if I had been guessing the grade. Always learn something when you least expect it. Not saying you're right or wrong just that haze is something that I am unfamiliar with how grade is affected. Problem when you prefer raw to graded. In the higher grades raw just doesn't normally happen and would be a red flag unless in hand.
In fairness, I'm not sure the TPGs employ that standard, I'm more using my own standard. If I see a PF67 with that level of haze, I wouldn't even consider buying it. I don't really collect proofs but when I buy one, I want strong mirrors, no haze, and no hairlines.
