So far these two coins are moving my way quicker than my purchase in February, which took 31 days to arrive. They arrived in the US 16 days after the auction. Hopefully they will slide quickly through customs. :nailbiting:

I hope you get these beauties really soon. My God they are awesome coins!

A pity this hobby can be so nerve-wracking when a lot of the best coins are across the pond.

It is indeed an anxious time waiting for the arrival of coins from other countries. I won a coin in Goldberg 91 yesterday, but will wait to post it until it is in hand! Coming from Los Angeles, so it shouldn't be too long...

I was nearing the end of my 45 minute walk today when the mailwoman came around the corner and, pointing her finger at me, brought her little truck to a sliding stop. She knows me well as the guy who is always signing for small certified, registered, and/or insured packages. It was the OP coins arriving earlier than expected! The first shipment from Nomos AG in Zurich had taken 31 days. This one arrived in 20 days!
I'm very pleased with both of the coins. The Gela is one of the largest tetradrachms of that city I've ever seen. Its greatest width is 30 mm and it has very little elbow-room in its compartment in my 40 coin Abafil tray!

Man o man, Ancientnut, all this talk about these awesome coins arriving at your place makes me wish I still lived a short drive away from you. I could bask in the glory of your newest acquisitions for the price of a gallon of gas back in those days! Hope you'll be posting some pics of that Abafil 40 tray REAL soon!

I would like to post a photo of the Abafil tray (there are only 29 coins in it), but I'm a babe lost in the woods when it comes to uploading photos to this site. I took a photo with my digital camera for the recent thread "Top Twelve Favorites - One Photo", transferred it to my computer, and then couldn't figure out how to upload it.:banghead:

Perhaps your image file is too large? There is a 10 MB max, with dimensions 1920 pixels x 1920 pixels. From a practical standpoint, images larger than ~1200 pixels wide are unnecessary and just bog down load time.

If that isn't the problem let me know and I'll post step-by-step screen shots of the process.

I already deleted that photo, TIF. I would appreciate receiving your step-by-step process of uploading photos stored on a PC. I'm running Windows 8.1 (upgrading to Windows 10 before July 29!) with IE and Firefox browsers.
It's just you and me this morning. I guess everyone else is afraid to override their browser error messages.

The security certificate should be updated shortly, per a moderator. Yay! I do not like Safari.

I'll make some annotated screen caps of uploading photos and post them here. It is possible that I have some features you don't have because I'm a CoinTalk supporter (which I highly recommend you become as well)

You can PM me with the photo uploading info, TIF.
How do I become a CoinTalk supporter?

Hmm, as for becoming a Supporter, I think you click on your picture. See this thread for more information. Since I'm currently a supporter, my profile doesn't display a link for doing so but yours should. It will take you to PayPal where for a nominal yearly price you can be rid of pesky advertisements, plus you can access the Boardroom forum. There may be a few other subtle benefits.
