Germaine, the photos blow up nice when clicked, and I also do not think it is an OMM, over mint mark. But the top serif of the 'S' has an area on the end that I can not tell if it is slightly raised above the field of the die or depressed ( dug out a little) lower than the field of the coin. If it is raised, I would say it is caused by die deterioration where the mint mark was sunk into the obverse die, the edges wore or broke, and allowed for a raised material when struck. Jim

I think I bought two of those at a small show one time. Well they were were in 2x2s labeled as such anyway lol. I didn't even look closely at the time because I was using them as "packing peanuts" that is, as a distraction from whatever cherry I was picking at the time.
