What would take me days of research would probably take you folks all of 10 seconds.

    What do you think?

Sorry, miracles take longer. I see legend starting AVK and ending CEB suggesting a Roman Provincial of a young ruler (delicate bust?), probably Severan period but I see nothing on the reverse so I'd say possibly Caracalla with about 4:1 odds. Finding a good match will require looking at a lot of coin photos armed with information you did not supply. Without a reverse the chances of ever knowing are not good.

i've had this (and several others) soaking in a constantly changed acetone bath for ages. What kind of harsher cleaning would you recommend?

Vinegar if left in there long will mess up a coin. I once had a copper put in a container half dist. water half vinegar, in 30 minutes had taken off both sides of the coin. At least it was pretty much ruined already before I did that & didn't waste a good coin.
