Wow. I'd keep all of those minty memorial cents. You can get a box of Harris tubes from

    http://www.wizardcoinsupply.com/

for a good price. I bought one from them last fall to hold my extra wheatbacks.

I zoomed in all the way and put a light on it. The picture is bad but you might be able to see lettering or traces of lettering. I do wish you can see what I can see.

Hmm, guess I just can't see that vdb.

Here's mine. Dad found it for me at a local shop in loose change when I was 11. So, a LONG time ago. I found one last year coin roll hunting, but it's not as nice as the one Dad found for me.

I think you can't see it because it is either worn off or poorly stamped. Im happy because it could be my first one. Nice coin by the way.

    Thanks! :)

Hey if you can see it when you hold it up to a light, then it's a vdb. :)

Sometimes the camera cannot see what the eyes can see. In my case, however, my camera is far superior to my eyes. I have to wear jewelers glasses to look at my coins nowadays...

Is it possible it is so warn off or miss stamped? The wheat stalks are good and same with the other detail.

Anything's possible. I've seen lots of different kinds of wear.

Keep in mind that coin is well over 100 years old.

    Wow that 58-D is gorgeous!

I must have hit the jackpot then. I also believe tou can find some of these like the 1919s and the 1929 d. Recently in fed rolls I will find one or the other in about 5-10 boxes. I search 4 a week.

Well my best coins go into my Dansco books. I've got an A and B collection for Cents and Nickels, plus a single book for each other circulated US coin. Then amazing 3rds would go into those white cardboard 2×2 coin flips. Any other valuable extras go into plastic tubes, one tube per year and mintmark. That's what I do. Buy the tubes in lots of 100 for the best prices. I think I paid like 23 bucks for 100 tubes last time. Tubes are like a buck each at coin shops.

You can also get coin flips at that site I posted. They're like 50 for a buck or whatever.

The key is to limit your coin's access to air. Air will tarnish a coin pretty fast.
