Been a while since I picked up any coins. Really glad I bought this one though! I've never seen a coin with such vibrant colours
Not a coin but finally got this back from being framed. This was in a envelope in a estate lot that I purchased. It is two letters between a shingler on the west coast and a coin collector on the east. They talk about trading rolls of nickels and dimes. Also included was the shingler's business card and vintage envelope. One of the letters was sent on his (the shingler) birthday. October 31st 1959. Born 1897. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Found this in a piece of furniture I was working on. Not that it's really worth anything. Obverse is more red in hand
Thanks Bill and everybody for the great comments. Seems like there are some nice coins being shaken lose by Pogue Sale and /or general economic factors.
Nice! A MS two cent is on my bucket list, but not as high as the proof IHC and the gold dollar, as well as the 12-S Lincoln. My bucket list is too large.
