Jack this one is for your enjoyment, It is in the case at the local coin shop it is from new fort Brady 1893-1944 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fort_Brady Fort was to keep them pesky Canadians from invading! He has $150.00 on it.
That's a pretty cool token especially because of it's value at one cent. I haven't seen that before...but I've never really looked. As far as the price goes, he's probably not too far off. Cunningham valued these at $100 in 1994 indicating to me they're likely hard to come by. I wonder how long the dealer has been sitting on it.
Not long I would say as he makes a point to show me tokens other than CWT and earlier counterstamps. since I am a more of the modern type collector. picked up a couple while I was there trading rosy and merc dimes in. I stop by at least once a week.
will do, he doesn't get many tokens in they seem to come in spurts. And that is only the second Mil spec type token he has had.
I don't see how that's exonumia, but just a blurry object with a poorly drawn Microsoft Paint face on it. What are you trying to do here?
While @ the LCS taking a pic for JWT of that closed army base PX token I did mange to pick up some interesting silver art bars and a few tokens. This one proves my theory that the private mints will put anything and anybody on the silver art bars.
Paz you can get them at Alan Web site. Coinzip.com there's a series from all the battle field coin shows .
