Definitely die cracks. Added value? No. Added interest? To collectors like me, yes. I'd rather own a cracked-die coin than a pristine one.

Yes. Remember the crack is on the Die itself and not on the planchet being struck. When you see a raised line (crack) it's the metal flowing into the crack that occurred on the Die.
Small cracks don't add much value as said by others. When you have large bold cracks, collectors will pay a bit more. Some folks love them and others won't buy them. Still fun to collect.
