I was going to say it would be OK for me to sleep under it but I'd rather have the t-s Huh? Maybe what we need is a greatest hits of CT fabric.
I love the duvet idea. You live once. Having said that....my wife would kill me. But pillow cases......I could get away with personal pillow cases. She would think I lost my mind.....but for that, she would not kill me.
Don't ask me in five minutes or contents (certainly order) would change. All have been discussed on CT before. 1-12 - Left to right, top to bottom The purchase of these 12 coins spans the years 1963 to 2015. So far this has been a bad year.
Here's mine - also not to scale (the Siglo is defiantly not bigger than the Tetradrachm... It was an accident of placement, but now that I look at it, a rather funny juxtaposition). This has reminded me that I need to take better photos of my coins, as many of these are out of focus. Couldn't hurt to scale them properly too (now that work has given me a copy of Photoshop, that shouldn't be too hard...)
42BC => those are a dozen sweet lookin' coins in your OP-post (congrats) ... I love the new lead addition
That's a beautiful tray, @4to2centBC. I'm enjoying the other trays immensely as well. While I like the coins on the quilt, but I won't be getting under that thing either . My Top 40 is pretty consistent, but Top 12 is another thing altogether. This tray is good for today. Coins shown in proportionate size, in no particular order:
what a gorgeous group 4to2! and some fine looking coins everyone else as well. man, i tried to pick twelve coins...and failed. i may try again later...when is the assignment due?
Great idea to put together a "top 12", and very nice pictures all around. Steve, my boy, you again ? I don't have time enough at the moment to think of a top 12 of mine, or to make a collage of them, but as others I can show again my 12 caesars set (close enough ?) Q
Yawn....12 Caesars...everyone's gottem, everyone wantsem...but why? What was the last cool thing Otho did lol? Bit played out? Great sets all.Just jokes.
ancientone: The first coin in the second row - how many different cans of spray paint did it take to get that patina?
I saw (and have posted) a 12 Caesar set in gold, mounted in a bracelet and displayed in a case at The Met. It was a gasp, not a yawn.
