Nice coin. Did you shoot that through a loupe or something? There's some serious blurring at the edges, but the depth of field in the center is excellent.
Sorry for the blur, I'm experimenting with some clip on lenses for my phone and pad. Photographing coins as you know is a nightmare. I took probably 20 different photos and settled on these two to post. I need to invest in some better equipment. I'd rather spend the money on more coins. I know! I'm a cheap date.
Last new one for me. Sorry about the photos. The coins picked up colors from the surrounding outdoor environment. Trees, the sky, me, etc.
No camera to show but I purchased a small hoard of 90% silver treasure today, all average circulated coins, purchased for their bullion value: 2 Morgan dollars 1 Walking Liberty half dollar 2 Kennedy silver clad half dollars (40% silver) 1 Standing Liberty quarter 2 Washington quarters 12 Mercury dimes 1 Roosevelt dime 8 Buffalo nickels (not silver, of course) 1 Canadian 10-cent piece (80% silver)
These for 15xface this week at my neighborhood LCS: 1912 & 2x1912-D dimes 2x1913, 1895-S & 1905-S quarters 1878 and a slightly mangled 1894-O half If I'm going to buy junk silver this is the best kind to get.
Found a new LCS while running errands yesterday. Brought a souvenir home with me it looks very proof like in hand but I think the fields have to much chatter which held it back. I love it.
Those are all better (semi-key) Barber quarters. The 1913 P quarter is a low mintage date/mint 484,000 That is one of my favorite dates, even dealers don't realize that it is a better date.
Yeah - some junk silver made it home with me today also. Look how many morgans have been posted. In OGH below.
