Some Lincolns & Jeffersons from a 1958 Mint Set

    Here are some Lincolns and Jeffersons from a 1958 Mint Set that I bought for the silver coins. The D Jeffersons were OK, but the P Jeffersons were VERY late die state, and I do wonder what sort of quality control was exercised at the P mint. The images are by Bob Campbell, and I think he did an excellent job.

    I love that Denver Lincoln - looks like the Mint polished the die with a grinder. :)

    Sy, the "B" in LIBERTY on both Lincoln's looks a little thick on the vertical. What's up?

    Nothing that I'm aware of Chris. The set is out at Bob's being imaged right now, so I can't check on them.
