GTG 1885 Liberty Nickel

    Her face is a bit scratched from cleaning. It's got lines in it. It may go to ANACS for a technical grade this summer. For now - my nickel collection is complete! :)

    Under star 9 on the obverse and across the V on the reverse

    VG10 or F12. I could see it going F12 b/c it's a key date, and I do think the certification services tend to be lenient with key dates.

    I see a VG 10 with some older scratches - net grade IMHO is VG 8
